We are very experienced and  qualified healthcare  general and project  management professionals with several years experience of working in the National Health Service, the Department of Health and in a wide range of developing countries.

Experience

Led by Peter Ramrayka, a senior healthcare management consultant, former National Health Service  Chief Officer,  Executive Director and an NHS Accredited Advanced Project Director Partnering for award winning mental health transformational projects,  with considerable operational and strategic experience in the NHS, the Department of Health  & Social Security, internationally and in the private sector. Peter's Non Executive Director appointments include:  Lay Member - Primary Care & Commissioning and Chair of the Primary Care Commissioning Committee  at South East London Commissioning Group(covering Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lewisham, ,Lambeth & Southwark Boroughs - Pop 1.8m  Budget (C£3billion);Lay Member - NHS Lewisham Clinical Commissioning Group and Chair of the Primary Care Commissioning Group; Member Lewisham Health and  Well Being   Board  member. Department of Health P21/P21+ Implementation Advisor – London & South East  England -  Provided policy advice, performance monitoring, systems development, mentoring, mediation, training and networking support to Strategic Health Authorities, and NHS organisations undertaking capital investment projects using P21/P21+ Department of Health national frameworks (2009 -11);

 

Development of Business Cases and piloting them through the various approval levels (Stakeholder Groups, Trust Board and SHA) for  two major mental health projects in South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust – Phoenix Unit (£7m) and Wandsworth Recovery Centre (£23m) both of which gained Trust, Borough, National and International Awards for design excellence and project leadership (2003-09);


Consultancy support for for Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) programme including Directorship of the first Norfolk LIFT  (2002-03)


Leading the Scottish Executive Health Department national £20M project to reconfigure patient services at the Royal Scottish National Hospital – Learning Disabilities, Larbert, Scotland (originally C500+beds) and develop community based  services in collaboration with 38 Local authorities across Scotland, resulting in the placement of  former patients in purpose built or adapted accommodation in  communities  throughout the country and closure of the hospital (1999- 02);

 

Health management consultancies in UK, Botswana, Pakistan and other parts of the developing world -Developing national referral hospital (in Botswana), national healthcare planning across Pakistan, decentralisation,  developing health development training Institutes (in Lahore, Punjab) Lecturer - Healthcare Management - Nuffield Institute for Health - Leeds University/ British Council (1990 - 99);


Health Board  lead with direct responsibility for coordinating the reconfiguration of learning disabilities services resulting in the phased run down and closure of Darenth Park Hospital, Dartford, Kent (C400+beds) and the development of patient centred services in communities across south London and south east England (1982-90)
